FOODIE PEN PAL TIME!!! I love getting my foodie pen pal package. I really enjoy making the package. It is all so much fun and so yummy!!
These are all the goodies I received from the amazing Amanda! I loved all the treats and pasta! She also sent me a recipe for Chocolate Cake and my oh my it was intense!! A very dark chocolate cake, I needed ice cream with it and then it was amazing!!
This was fantastic!! My friend Leslie, who I cook with all the time, has been wanting to make risotto. It takes a bit of time so we wanted to make sure we had a lot of time to make it. I plan to make this again soon! Or another type of risotto, I mean it was amazing!!
This is one of my favorite songs of all time! And the album this is on, is one of the best albums I have ever listened to! Not to mention this video is awesome!
Without any more to do! The Weekly Dish! Recipes from this blog for the last week.
This is really sweet. To make it exactly like an orange push-up you should add more sugar. I did not want it that sugary. At 1/2 cup sugar it was too sugary for me.
This was really yummy. I really like roasted cauliflower and my mom wants me to like broccoli. Ya know, its good for me. This way I will eat broccoli. Not as good as cauliflower, but put enough parmesan cheese on anything and I will eat it.
Firebirds edited by November, Sharyn- This was ok. It was not the best book of short stories I have ever read. I was unimpressed.
Spindle’s End by McKinley, Robin- This is my second time reading this book. I really enjoy McKinley’s writing style and this story is a revision of Sleeping Beauty. I love fairy tales and fantasy stories. And this story has strong female characters instead of the weak characters that the dude has to save.
Bitter Sweets by Farooki, Roopa- I really enjoyed the beginning and middle of this book. It’s a story about a family who lies all the times. They create these webs that become harder and harder to manage. The character development was really nuanced. The big disappointment for me was ending. It wrapped up in a pretty little bow and thats just not the way lying and deception work in the real world.
