I received my new cocktail shaker!!! I am so excited. I did not have a lot of time to work on photo quality, so you will see more photos later. But for now, I give you The Red Coat!
The Red Coat is very tart. If that is your thing then enjoy. If you like sweet cocktails then not so much.
The Red Coat
This recipe is from The Mason Shakers cocktail book.
Ingredients
- 3 shots tequila
- 2 shots elderflower liqueur
- 1 shot apple juice
- 1 shot lime juice
Directions
1. Add the tequila, elderflower liqueur, apple juice and lime juice to the tumbler.
2. Add ice and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
3. Strain into glasses (technically glasses with ice cubes, but I don’t have any more ice cubes).

That’s a very nice cocktail shaker! I so want one but for some reasons I’m still waiting for one…I never heard of this cocktail before, it sounds nice.
