Sunday Supper is a group of bloggers who are on a mission to bring back super around the family table in every home. This week Susan at The Wimpy Vegetarian is hosting and the theme is homemade gifts.
This is a really easy mix to make! My sister loves snickerdoodles. My mom makes those, but when I found this recipe- I knew I had to make it for my wee little sister (who isn’t that little, but she will always be my little sister! 🙂 )
Snickerdoodle Snack Mix
This recipe was slightly adapted from Food Gifts.
Ingredients
- 1 3.5 ounce bag unpopped butter-flavored popcorn
- 4 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups graham crackers
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
1. Pop popcorn according to package directions. Pour popcorn into a large bowl and remove all all unpopped kernels.
2. In a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture over warm popcorn; toss until evenly coated. Add graham crackers. Let cool for 5 minutes. Toss in chocolate chips.
