I had leftover figs from when I made cheese stuffed figs. I did not know what to do with them, until I found this recipe that originally had dried cranberries in it. But I think figs are much tasty than cranberries, so I changed it.
I love this so much! It has so much flavor. I have never made mushrooms that taste so good. And you have to have rice or something to soak up all of the wonderful sauce. It takes a little while to make. But it isn’t hard, just a little time consuming.
I live by myself. Therefore, getting dinner on the table fast is a little bit different for me than some of the other blogs that are participating in this #SundaySupper. However, I still want to get dinner on the table fast some nights and baked eggs are one of my favorite. You can put whatever you want in it and they are really easy to make. And only 15 minutes in the oven.
These were delicious!! I am going to have to make them again. I made them with my sister a week ago. She was visiting and we had a great time. I love sharing food with the people I love.
They turned out to be a little bit difficult to photograph. Which is just too funny, because they tasted so good and I want all of you to go try them. Oh well, I will have to make them again soon and try, try again.
Update: When I ate the leftovers, I had them over rice and that was really nice. I think I will do that next time I make this.
Sub zero weather has hit Minnesota and I am getting excited for hearty soup. So I will have a soup recipe soon. But first I need to use the food already in my pantry. I had some chicken that needed to be used and then I remembered I made appled brandy this fall. I have never cooked with appled brandy, or any brandy for that matter, so I was really curios what it would taste like.
