Sweet Potato Fries

Sneaking food, while I was slaving away.  /shakes head/

These sweet potato fries were awesome!!  The secret ingredient was sriracha and believe me you could taste it.  Zach did not make it too overpowering, but gosh it was yummy.  I am definitely adding some sriracha to my fries next time I make some!!

Sweet Potato Fries

This recipe was made by my friend Zach and adapted from The Food Network.


  • olive oil
  • 3 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch long slices, then 1/4 wide inch strips
  • oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sriracha


1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

2. Line a sheet tray with parchment.  In a large bowl toss sweet potatoes with just enough oil to coat.  Sprinkle the paprika, salt, pepper, and sriracha.  Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on prepared baking sheet, being sure not to overcrowd.

3. Bake until sweet potatoes are tender and golden brown, turning occasionally, about 20 minutes.  Let cool 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
