I love biscotti! And I recently found this wonderful recipe with peppermint and candy canes. What could be more perfect for the holidays! I love candy canes and always use them to stir my hot chocolate so this is just too much. Now I can stir my hot chocolate with biscotti! So much chocolate 🙂
I had a brunch!!! It was so much fun!! OMG, even in my tiny apartment. We were tight, but we all fit. Even with the cats. 🙂 That is a picture of everyone in my kitchen. According to my mom, a one butt kitchen! Believe me, you do not want to cook with all those people in the kitchen. I don’t think you could move!
These are super yummy! You can use your favorite jam or if you want to finish off a jam jar. And you can mix and match flavors really easily too. The raspberry did not come out very strong in these. But they were still really great.
I already have all the ingredients for this recipe in my pantry. So no extra trips to the grocery store. I love to bake, so I keep my pantry pretty well stocked for baking, but it is unlikely that you will have to buy more than one or two ingredients for these muffins.
Today is my first day participating in #Sunday Supper. I am super excited!!
My dad lives 4 hours away from me. And I do not have time right now to visit. Therefore, I wanted to make something that I could mail to him. Which limits my options quite a bit. However, my dad loves cookies so I went with that. And I have never made macadamia nut cookies, so I thought that would be super fun.
I just received a letter from my great aunt Vivian. She gave me four new recipes!! It made my day! I went out and bought bananas that day.
My great aunt Vivian is my favorite great aunt! She taught me to tie quilts and she has a cross stitch that says you can eat the crumbs off her floor. She is also very, very old and had cancer before. And every time I say good bye to her and see ya later. She replies, “If I am still alive then.” Which is super morbid, but some how it is always really funny when she says it.
