We had friendsgiving last weekend. It was awesome, albeit small. But the people who did come were awesome and the food was great. Really what more can you ask for?
I love soup!!! And I have never made anything with real pumpkin. Therefore, last time I went to the farmer’s market I decided to buy one. For some reason I was really nervous about cooking with a real pumpkin, but it was so easy! Just like squash, except bigger. I don’t know what else I am going to make with pumpkin. But, I definitely am going to use it more this fall!
This was fantastic. I am going to have so many more dutch babies in the future! 🙂 And the apples in this; amazing! Drenched in brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Perfection!

Doesn’t that look so beautiful!?! I love this. It is my favorite fall snack or side dish. It is so simple. Whenever it starts to get cold I want to eat an apple and some squash.
I live by myself. Therefore, getting dinner on the table fast is a little bit different for me than some of the other blogs that are participating in this #SundaySupper. However, I still want to get dinner on the table fast some nights and baked eggs are one of my favorite. You can put whatever you want in it and they are really easy to make. And only 15 minutes in the oven.
I just received a letter from my great aunt Vivian. She gave me four new recipes!! It made my day! I went out and bought bananas that day.
My great aunt Vivian is my favorite great aunt! She taught me to tie quilts and she has a cross stitch that says you can eat the crumbs off her floor. She is also very, very old and had cancer before. And every time I say good bye to her and see ya later. She replies, “If I am still alive then.” Which is super morbid, but some how it is always really funny when she says it.
