This weeks theme is 5 ingredients or less and I love that! I love when I can cook with only a few ingredients and make something really yummy. Not to mention it is cheaper (AND I can always use cheaper meals). These were simple and fast.
The WNBA Playoffs stated!!! Maya Moore had a great block last night. Of course it is not on you tube yet. But I looked for it!
I am so excited! Game one done- LYNX WIN! But we have a long ways to go to be champions again.
So enjoy this great move from last year by Maya for now.

Apparently I send very business like texts. I get to the point. Texting takes too much work to be frilly. Who, what, where, when and why was it funny? Those are normally the questions answered by my texts.
My friend Kelzee made this delicious salad. It is full of flavor and amazing textures. It has tons of spices and a very complex flavor. Everyone loved it!
Does not that look like a wonderful picnic meal? It was just perfect.
My friend Katy made these tasty egg salad wraps with an avocado twist! Everyone loved them. And she even put the tomatoes on the side for me. What a considerate friend :)!
Ok I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am about these. But I should back up a bit so you understand my excitement. I am a knitter. I have not been knitting a ton lately since Pippi came into my life- kitties want to play with my yarn when I knit. However, I ride the bus a lot now, so my hands are free for about an hour to 2 hours a day.
Also, my thermoses started leaking. I can’t even begin to tell you how annoying it is to get some coffee or tea on your hand, let alone on your shirt when you are out and a bout.
Both of these changes happened around the same time in my life- more knitting time and leaking thermoses. Then I found out about Cuppow and my life was changed!!! Cuppow is a lid for a mason jar and then you can drink out of it.
But if you just put hot tea in a mason jar it is too hot to touch. But that is an easy problem to solve with a little knitting!!!!
Aren’t they the cutest!!! I take them to work, to school and if I forget to clean them one night all I have to do is rinse the lid and put it on a different mason jar. Also, if I want to throw it in my bag when I am finished, I just have to put a normal lid on it and we are all set to go- NO LEAKS!
I found the pattern at Miso Crafty Knits. Both of mine are the Ribbed pattern. Do you love mason jars? This is a perfect way to utilize them in a new way!
It is apple season!!! It is crisp and fresh outside and all I can think about is going apple picking in some gorgeous orchard. Time has not allowed for that yet, but I have been able to eat some delicious apples and use them in a few recipes!!! More to come soon! To start with we have this great chai tea with some apple cider and apple slices.
This week the weekly dish is brought to you by C. J. Jones!!! I saw him live this past week. We were rolling on the floor laughing. It was so good!
