#SundaySupper: Raspberry Jam Cakes

Long time no see!  I have been so uninspired lately.  I have been busy and just not interested in doing all the work to make something yummy and then take the pictures and create a post.  It was just too much.  Therefore, I knew the only way that I would get back into the kitchen with some gusto would be to do some baking.  When I saw that the Sunday Supper crew were doing retro recipes I decided to dig for some delicious baked good from yesteryear.  And found these lovely cakes to make for any good tea party!

Apple-Pecan Sticky Buns

 

OMG who doesn’t love sticky buns?!  I am a huge fan.  Well the other day my friend Kelsey and I decided to make them for brunch and it was wonderful.  I am so glad we had these.  They were fabulous!

#SundaySupper: Double Chocolate Peppermint Biscotti

I love biscotti!  And I recently found this wonderful recipe with peppermint and candy canes.  What could be more perfect for the holidays!  I love candy canes and always use them to stir my hot chocolate so this is just too much.  Now I can stir my hot chocolate with biscotti!  So much chocolate 🙂

#cranberrylove: Cranberry Upside Down Cake

November is #cranberrylove month!!!  I am hosting this month.  In the past I have participaped in #figlove, #peachlove, #tomatolove, #icecreamlove, #pastalove, #berrylove, #greenslove, #chocolatelove.

I have been dying to make an upside down cake!  So, when I was looking for recipes for this month’s love blog hop and stumbled upon a cranberry upside down cake- I was hooked!  I also love bundt cakes, so I decided to put the cake in my bundt cake mold.  It makes everything prettier.  Don’t you think?

Apple Dutch Baby

This was fantastic.  I am going to have so many more dutch babies in the future!  🙂  And the apples in this; amazing!  Drenched in brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.  Perfection!

Goat Cheese Penne Alfredo

I did not know what to make this week.  I wanted something easy, fast and new.  I just did not know what to do.  I was uninspired.  AND THEN #sundaysupper happened and the theme was 5 ingredients or less and I thought that round up would have something I could make.

Blueberry Butter

My sister came to visit!  Therefore, we decided to make a yummy breakfast together.  Sarah made the pancakes and I made the toppings and did dishes, boo.  🙂  It all tasted so good together!!

Bacon Chocolate Chip Biscotti

I had some left over bacon around the house and I did not feel like just frying it up.  So I looked around for some recipes with bacon in it and I could not believe when I saw this recipe.  It just sounded too good to be true.

Craisins and White Chocolate Chips Scones

These were great scones!!  I really enjoy having scones for breakfast or brunch!  They are just so tasty.

Cinnamon Pecan Coffee Cake

I had a brunch!!!  It was so much fun!!  OMG, even in my tiny apartment.  We were tight, but we all fit.  Even with the cats. 🙂  That is a picture of everyone in my kitchen.  According to my mom, a one butt kitchen!  Believe me, you do not want to cook with all those people in the kitchen.  I don’t think you could move!
